This Corn Snake was removed from a property in Ipswich by our snake catcher Brandon
The Corn Snake has been introduced to Australia through the international illegal pet trade. This beautiful species is native to North America and while they’re sought after, are not allowed to be kept within Queensland for Biosecurity reasons. This individual had likely escaped from someone’s illegal captive collection.
