My fascination for reptiles started when I was very young. In my late teens I began keeping pythons, dragons and skinks as pets and it didn’t take long for my fascination to turn into a passion. I moved to Brisbane in 2006 and was excited to spend my weekends exploring South-East QLD looking for the large variety of reptiles that make this part of the world their home. On talking to others about my experiences I started to find a trend. People don’t mind snakes…so long as they’re far away from them!.

 

I started Brisbane Snake Removals to offer the residents and business owners of Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan an affordable and professional option for the catching, removal and relocation of snakes from their properties. I am an advocate for wildlife conservation, therefore I use removal techniques that cause the least amount of stress  when catching the snake as possible.

 

When I’m not removing snakes for customers, I volunteer for BARN, a not-for-profit Brisbane-based organisation that rescues and cares for Australian wildlife. Not a day goes by that I’m not driving around Brisbane picking up and dropping off sick and injured animals. In my care at the moment are possums, rainbow lorikeets, blue-tongue lizards and carpet pythons. I also have two dogs who are always fascinated to see these animals coming and going.
